The network is taken as a metaphor for an interweaving of ties with a high "social intensity": listening, help, collaboration, according to the scheme of vertical and horizontal subsidiarity. From the bottom up, from the individual patient to the healthcare and institutional system, through the enhancement of the organizational autonomy of individuals and associations in the territories. The reciprocity and circularity of help feed the strength of a cooperating community, capable of weaving around the individual, even in the fragility of the disease, the web of trust and custody.
